GUYS LIKE US by Sean Nolan

It seems only fitting that my first entry should be about one of the best books I’ve read IN YEARS.  GUYS LIKE US by Sean Nolan made me laugh out loud and cry, sometimes both at once.  Nolan’s writing is muscular, witty, and profound.  If you need more than that, here’s the premise: his dad, a high-powered lawyer, was hit by a truck while biking and lost all of his memory.  Couldn’t remember a thing or a face.  So Sean, his oldest son, decided to help him remember his life by telling him stories.  My summary doesn’t do the book justice.  Just read it.  You can thank me later.  PS–Because this is Sean’s first book and the publisher (albeit wise) is TINY, we really need to get the word out.
